HBS works across architecture, interiors, landscape, sacred spaces and bespoke furniture. Most projects bring two or three of these together — we like the way thinking about a building, its rooms and its garden as a single conversation produces calmer, more lived-in places.
From private homes to mixed-use buildings, our architecture practice begins with site, sun and brief, and continues through documentation, council, and on-site delivery. Every drawing carries the same quiet rigour, whether the project is a 90 m² garden pavilion or a five-storey commercial fit-out.

Our interiors team works alongside our architects so the inside of every HBS building is designed at the same level of detail as its envelope. Joinery, lighting, hardware, soft furnishings and finishes are chosen for atmosphere and longevity — and almost always sampled in person before being committed.

For clients who want one studio responsible for the entire journey, we offer fully turnkey delivery. We design, document, contract the right builder and trades, oversee construction, manage finishes, and hand over a finished home with all the small details — down to the dinner plates — already in place.

Landscape is never an afterthought at HBS. Wherever possible we design the planting, hardscape, water and outdoor rooms in parallel with the building, so the boundary between inside and outside softens with time. We work closely with horticulturalists and stonemasons to make gardens that age beautifully.

Designing for worship is a particular privilege of the studio. Our work in religious architecture has spanned gurdwaras, family temples, ablution courts and small chapels. We approach each project with deep listening to the rituals, scriptures and community of the faith, and translate that into proportion, light and material.

For some projects we design furniture from scratch — a daybed measured to a window, a dining table for a particular family of seven, a brass-edged credenza built to outlive its owners. We work with a small group of trusted joiners, metalworkers and upholsterers across Dubai and Delhi to make pieces of real quality.
